Rubber extrusion is a manufacturing process that creates profiles with a fixed cross section. First, the raw elastomers are passed through a tool (nozzle). Later, the rubber compound is vulcanized, in order to obtain durability and improve mechanical properties. In the end the profile goes into the cooling chamber.

Rubber extrusion is used with many different types of elastomers, and this rubber manufacturing process supports complex cross-sectional profiles with excellent surface treatment. Because extrusion mixes raw materials, hardened rubber offers consistent strength and a uniform appearance along the length of the profile.
